ePadLink ePad Patch 2642 (r4149)

Kernel Mode Driver for Standard ePad and ePad-POS, USB versions

Overview

This patch addresses an issue seen with the following ePadLink products:

Description

Certain processes in Microsoft Windows XP, SP1 or SP2 combined with Microsoft Office 2003 force the Standard ePad USB and ePad-POS USB to behave as a mouse (e.g. scribbling on the ePad moves the mouse cursor, but user cannot sign with the ePad).

Fix or workaround

ePadLink developed software patch 2642 (r4149) to address the issue described here. This patch must be installed over the drivers version 6.22. This patch is a Kernel Mode Driver (KMD) that has been WHQL-certified by Microsoft.
